Jamie
Naughright EdD, ATC, LAT, RYT Co-owner




Dr. Naughright is a certified athletic trainer who has 18 years of experience
evaluating, treating, and preventing sports injuries with Division I
Intercollegiate & professional athletes and general population (Head/Associate
Athletic Trainer at University of Tennessee Men’s Track & Field and Football).
In 1996, she earned a Doctor of Education degree in Health Education &
Promotion. Her undergraduate degree is in Exercise Physiology. Dr. Naughright
was a university professor and instructor for 10 years, teaching in the areas of
sports medicine, evaluation/treatment of injuries, and anatomy. She also
developed the accredited athletic training undergraduate program at Florida
Southern College.
Her track and field experience includes: member of the medical staff for the USA
Track & Field and 1996 Olympic games; Medical Director, 1995 NCAA Track & Field
Division I Championships; Athletic Trainer, 1997 World Games in Athens; and USA
Head Athletic Trainer at 1998 Ekiden in Beijing, and 2000 Junior Invitational
Meet.
Currently, Dr. Naughright, RYT 200, is co-owner of My Time Yoga Studio in
Lakeland Florida where she teaches. She also owns Resilience, LLC, through which
she practices as an athletic trainer under the supervision of Dr. Larry Padgett,
surgeon for the Cleveland Indians and Atlanta Braves Baseball teams.
Dr. Naughright is enrolled in Mary Paffard's 650 faraway teacher training
program with tentative graduation date summer 2007. Dr. Naughright
has studied under Mary Paffard, Rodney Yee, Colleen Saidman, Dr. Baxter Bell,
Tias Little, and David Swenson.
